writing_days. The idea is to write and post some bit of fiction every day for 25 days. Sadly, I'm going to have to start over. I was willing to give myself a pass for the day of the endoscopy and just count it as not having existed, but I've now missed several more days. Oh, well... The real point from my point of view isn't the 25 days but the writing that would come out of it. I've gotten about 6 pages of new material for "Rheotaxis" which is better than I expected.
I've got no writing done since Sunday; Saturday was a rewrite that I'm not really sure should count for much. I don't know if I will write at all today or not. Keeping up with Delia's challenging, and I've been feeling a little overwhelmed.
Also, the delay lets me consider how to keep the upcoming info dump from being an info dump and how to put it into the right voice for the character who's speaking. I also have to consider how the pov character is going to react. I think he'll want to reject the information, and he's really miserably unhappy right now. But he's still the right character to be writing the scene about. He needs to come to some realizations about the situation and what he wants.
