Before I can chicken out...

This'll be of interest to only a fraction of my friends list, but I thought it sounded interesting. (I grabbed this from toxictattoo and from miko_no_da, for those that try to trace memes.)

If you've ever watched your favorite DVDs, and then found yourself eager to hear exactly what the actors, directors, writers and even production designers thought about making the episode, the movie, or whatever - you'll know sometimes the best parts of DVDs are hearing the commentaries. Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

The next section has to be modified since I've only got one fic. If you're interested, please pick a scene or chapter. Given enough requests, I may do the whole thing, but... The notion's very intimidating (and would cut into my time for writing new chapters).

Pick a fic I've written, any fic, or even a short story arc, if you like, and I'll give you the dvd-style "What the hell was I thinking?" commentary thing--though you might want to specify characters, or storyline, or plot. (You can ask more specific questions as well. Or you can not, and just let me ramble on at will.)

If you want spoilers for fics I'm working on, or are curious about what I'm thinking about storywise now, I might consider answering those, too.

I don't know if anyone will want commentary or how good what I provide will be (or how long...). I've never done this before, after all, but I'm game to try. I will most likely put any commentary on my website rather than posting it here. A lot of people on my friends list don't read fanfic or don't read the type of fic I'm writing.

Also, please be aware that the answer to some specific questions will be "I don't know yet." The story's still very much a work in progress, and the characters seem to have minds of their own.

You would pick the longest chapter! ::laughs:: It'll take a while, but I'll work on it.

Here's a more general question: what made you pick Nagi and Yohji for their respective roles? It's such an unusual pairing...what made you want to write them?
