Dec. 3rd, 2004 09:40 pmBack in October, Scott's mother and I took Delia back to the pediatrician for a weight check and some additional shots. Delia'd gained enough weight to be considered safely back on track-- 18 pounds and 11 ounces. She's so tiny that the ounces matter a lot. Her low weight also gives us a dilemma-- She's too tall for her rear facing car seat by several inches, but she's supposed to be 20 pounds to be forward facing (26 inches, 20 pounds and 1 year old are the guidelines. Since she's 18 months old, it's only the weight giving us trouble). We've pretty much had to go with a forward facing car seat because our back seat is too small to accommodate a larger car seat rear facing. Most of the time, I feel secure with that decision, but...
