We're home.

I'm on day three of a moderately bad migraine and hoping desperately that a good night's sleep (combined with the last of the imitrex) will break the thing. The last week has involved a lot of disrupted nights, and the last two nights were particularly bad (Delia objected to sleeping away from home, my allergies acted up, the beds were unfamiliar and uncomfortable). I actually fell asleep while sitting in my grandmother's living room this afternoon.

I've got to kill this migraine before Tuesday. That's when Scott will be back at work, and Delia and I will be on our own. I'd like to kill the migraine sooner, but I'll be able to sleep tomorrow if I need to.

If you need something from me, calling or e-mailing to remind me may be wise. I'm just a bit distracted.

I thought we were going to hanging out with you guys on Tuesday, to kick off our trading days? If that still works for you, let me know. We have a few errands to do (Post Office, haircut for M), but are otherwise available for your entertaining-Delia relief. OTOH, if you are well enough to handle the girls for 1.5 hours, I could go help out at lunch at S's school for the first day.

I did actually remember that I needed to talk to you and to the class rep for the pre-school. I'm just kind of scattered at the moment (the migraine has *not* gone away. Scott will be picking up more of my migraine medication this afternoon. That's been giving me temporary relief).

I'm fairly sure that, even if I still have this level of migraine, I can handle the two girls for 1.5 hours. They're good about keeping each other entertained. I may ask, though, if you can help me get to the doctor if I haven't killed this thing by then. I'm a bit concerned that it's a side effect of the new migraine preventative medication I started last weekend.

I'm also weighing the pros and cons of Tuesday versus Thursday for taking the two girls. Having the cleaning lady on Thursday makes having both girls more of a challenge, but it's potentially manageable. Do you have a strong preference either way? I know you were talking about classes. I've been thinking that the cleaning lady on Thursday mornings makes me doing things on Thursdays more difficult and that she really loves seeing Delia (and getting Delia to help with basic cleaning).

::sighs:: I'm mainly babbling. Don't take me too seriously.

Oh, and I'm interested in a trip to the post office, too, if that's feasible. If it's not, I'll just do it on the way to pre-school on Wednesday.

I'm easy about which day, and I'm open to changing if things aren't working like anticipated.

Sure, we can all go to the post office together and/or get you to the doctor. I'm happy to have company for errands.
