Having a day of rest was supposed to make Scott better not worse. Sadly, the exhausting cold is now turning into a cough from hell, and he's trying to hack up a lung. I don't think either of us are getting much sleep tonight.

He has to go back to work on Monday. Tomorrow better help him. I'm not sure what to do. Our doctor doesn't have Sunday hours, and he can't go in on a work day.

I'm also terrified that I'm going to get it. I can't afford a cough. Those always set off my asthma in a big way. I need to be able to walk. I need to be able to keep up with Delia.

I'm less afraid of Delia getting it. That would be miserable, but I could cope.

In case it's useful: I'm pretty sure that Urgent Care centers are open on Sundays. The one time we tried using one, we were happily surprised to find that they accepted our insurance, though with a somewhat higher co-pay than for seeing our regular doctor.

I hope Scott feels better soon and that you and Delia don't catch it!

Hope Scott feels better soon! And evalerie's advice above is sound, too. At least he could get a prescription for some super-strong cough supressant?
