I'm going to post a lot of little fragments over the next day or three, things that I've wanted to write up but that I've been too distracted to do properly. Most of them are for my future reference as much as they're things I want to share.
The board of Delia's pre-school gave me an Espresso Royale gift card as a thank you for the work I've done on the library. I'm very pleased by the recognition but also feel a little odd because I keep thinking of all the things I've meant to do with the library and haven't. They'd all be extras, but they'd be useful extras.
I've shown our teacher how to use BookMooch. We plan to sit down at least once more so that we can go through the books I've thrown onto the save-for-later list and decide which are worth spending points on.
If you're on BookMooch and want to donate points to Delia's pre-school, we're the First United Methodist Co-operative Nursery of Ann Arbor. We haven't spent many points yet, but we have over two hundred and fifty items on our save-for-later list. We'll be spending points as soon as I meet with the teacher again (with luck, some time next week, after we get back from break). Also, if you enter the BookMooch charity lottery, we'd be glad to get a few points worth of nominations. (I'm off to put up a few more points to add to the points
cherydactyl already put up for us.)
