the_rckOkay, I kind of fail at this website update Yahoo group thing. When I went to send a notice about the recent updates, I discovered that I hadn't announced anything since my Yuletide 2006 fic. ::hangs head:: I meant to. I thought I had. I was sure I'd at least announced "Snare."
It's been so long since I did anything with the list that my e-mail program immediately labeled my incoming copy of the message as spam. My e-mail program never thinks *anything* is spam. Ever. Except a message from myself via Yahoo.
Oops.
My guess is that this is a combination of my being embarrassed by my lack of progress on "Rheotaxis" and my being certain that I'd have more to announce if I just waited until some nebulous 'soon' that never actually arrived (or that I didn't recognize as having arrived). I tend to assume that most people who subscribe to the update list are primarily interested in "Rheotaxis." I could be wrong, though. I've no idea.
