the_rckI've started writing my Remix fic. I'm still tempted by two other stories than the one I've started, but I'm going to give this one a couple of days to see if I can make it work. This story and one of the other possibilities are challenging. I think I can make strong stories from them. The third possibility would be straightforward but wouldn't, I suspect, produce a dreadfully strong or original story as I'd be expanding rather than re-imagining.

dormouse_in_tea and that may never end up posted anywhere. I'm simply playing with the sorts of story developments and she and I will find most amusing rather than trying to build a strong story.
I have set up on DreamWidth as 'the_rck.' I've not posted any content over there yet and only have tiny reading list because I haven't spent any time searching for interesting people to read. If you're over there and would prefer to be read there, please let me know. I'll probably end up mirroring content there as I do on IJ and LJ.
Additionally, I'm considering setting up a backup fic archive on DreamWidth. I haven't decided yet because I don't really want to face the formatting that I'd have to do. If I didn't have to do formatting, I'd probably set up the account now. Needing to do formatting means waiting until after I finish my Remix fic to decide.
Or are there a lot of people who would prefer reading my fics on DreamWidth rather than on my website? Hardware issues and personal control issues aside, I don't see much difference from a reader's point of view, but I might be missing something.
