I've backed another Kickstarter. Digital Manga is trying to raise the money to restock volumes one through six of a yaoi series, Finder by Ayano Yamane. The series won't be to everyone's taste as it does contain a lot of rape. I don't adore the series, but I do very much want to read the volumes I wasn't able to get my hands on before. The Kickstarter stands at about 20% funded with thirty one days to go. They want $45,000, so who knows if they'll get it. That's quite a chunk of money for a niche product.

I've been poking at Kickstarter this evening, and I found a project that I hope funds-- It's raising money for an artist named Carole Alden who's been in prison for killing her abusive husband. I really like her art. The Kickstarter is here if you're at all curious. There are still forty three days to go, and the project has only raised about $300 of its $1200 goal.

I'm going for the $15 level for a print of "Dragon and Girl." I was really torn about which of the three prints to pick, but Scott preferred the one with the dragon. As he would have to look at it, too, once it was on the wall, I decided to go with his preference.
