Jun. 22nd, 2012 03:48 pmI'm making progress on my writing. I'm still not sure I'll be done by the deadline (and I'm sure I won't have time for beta reading), but I'm getting there.I might surprise myself by finding an ending soon.
I ended up signing up for the Narnia Fic Exchange. I will miss doing Parallels. Maybe next year.
Wednesday evening, Scott's Babylon 5 game met. He's currently got two story threads going with the party split and those not in a given group playing npcs. Something happened in the game that affected both threads-- a psychic bomb that knocked most everybody out. One of my characters, having past experience with psychic weapons, recovered quickly and was able to help get rid of the bombs the villain had planted.
Thursday evening, we had Delia's second softball game. The game started late because the umpire was late. This time she scored a run. She can't throw or catch particularly well (none of the girls can. This is not unique to Delia. They're all improving). It rained during the game. Between that and the breeze, I actually felt a bit chilled by the time the game was over. I'm grateful that the temperatures of the preceding couple of days didn't continue. The game would have been miserable.
Scott has today as a vacation day. He and Delia went up to his parents' place this morning, leaving me to write. They went so that Scott could figure out why his parents' printer wasn't working and make sure their e-mail programs were set up correctly. (They switched ISPs and were surprised that that meant switching e-mail addresses.)
